Welcome to the home page for the
Washington Association of Trampoline & Tumbling

This site is designed to communicate and promote the sport of Trampoline, Double-Mini Trampoline and Tumbling in the state of Washington. The Washington Association of Trampoline and Tumbling is composed of a group of gyms that offer year-round competitive teams in trampoline, double-mini and tumbling (some gyms also offer recreational classes.)  Trampoline & Tumbling is part of USA Gymnastics. The competitive season is primarily early December through early June; culminating in a National competition in July.

2009 World Age Group Games

Tanner Page competed at the World Age Group Games in Russia with excellent results.

2009 Final Selection Event

Zachary Moore, Tanner Page and Ashleigh Thomas just returned from the Final Selection Event (the qualifier for World Championships). Zachary placed 4th on double-mini. Tanner placed 1st on trampoline and 3rd on double-mini. Ashleigh placed 5th on double-mini.

Tanner will be representing the US in the World Age Group Championships this November in St. Petersburg, Russia.


 

2009 Visa Championships

Washington’s Trampoline and Tumbling Jr. Elite athletes recently returned home from the VISA Championships.

The VISA Cup National championships included Women’s and Men’s Artistic, Trampoline and Tumbling, Rhythmic, and Group Acro gymnastics and was held in Dallas Texas.

Ashleigh Thomas placed 7th on Double-Mini Trampoline and 12th place on Trampoline. Tanner Page placed 8th on Trampoline and 13th on Double-Mini Trampoline. This is the 2nd VISA Cup National Championships that both athletes have participated in. Ashleigh and Tanner are from Gymnastics East in Preston WA and are coached by Hans Nielsen.


2009 J.O. Nationals

Washington State did an excellent job at the 2009 J.O. Nationals in San Jose, CA. Twenty-five athletes placed in the top ten, including two national champions, Cody Schnieder and Prestton Garcia. Congratulations to all the J.O. National attendees.
